Youkai are practically demons, in any shape and form.The have been living since the beginning of time. Some youkai used to be animals, objects, bugs, etc. and were transformed into demons because of a very strong emotion or incident. They aren't visible to normal humans. They are guilty of ghost activities or supernatural sighs around the world. They have ranks raging from very low leveled youkai who don't posses much power, to Gods and Dragons who have divine powers. Some can transform into humans too. It is very common for a youkai to wear a mask to hide their eyes or whole face. Youkai are spirits and thus do not have an actual gender, although they appear either female or male depending on their voices and sometimes appearance.





1. Gods, Dragons and high ranking youkai will be judged accordingly. For gods, you need permission from Lily.

2. Youkai come in all types of shapes and forms, but try not to overdo it with sizes. They also don't need to look human. Animal based youkai are encouaged.

3. You can choose to use one of the already existing youkai [refer to Obakemono.com, Wiki, etc.] but making up your own youkai is allowed too.

4. Don't go around giving your name to anyone. Giving your written name to someone is like giving them your life. The one possessing your written name can kill you or order you anytime without notice.

5. Don't kill without permission. Youkai can kill humans easier than humans kill youkai, but that is not an excuse to kill anyone without the permission of the character's owner.

6. Youkai tend to hate humans. Exceptions are rare and need a good reason. It's not logical for a youkai to befriend a human just because they wanted to, except of course if the youkai's personality allows it.

7. Having animal ears and a tail while possessing a human like form, usually means that the youkai is weak and can't even suppress their appearance, so, unless you want to get bullied or something, I suggest you stick to a monster like form or a human like form. Nekomimi are still allowed, but take in consideration the above.

8. Gods usually live in shrines and have a lot more power than usual youkai. They are more pure. But, if they aren't worshiped, they will eventually start sinking, losing their power and disappearing completely. Dragons on the other hand are able to roam freely and aren't as pure as the gods, but have pretty much the same range of power.

Humans are what you already know them to be, living their lives normally, unaware of the youkai around them. Some though, have the ability to sense them, hear them, and even see them. Most of those people have lived through terrible lifetimes, and have ended up either all alone, or as exorcists. It's not very common for someone to have such senses though.





1. Unless you're applying for an exorcist, humans with full youkai vision and notable spiritual power will be judged strictly and you first need to get permission from the admin to stat working on one.

2. Humans with sharpened senses are easier to acquire. Glasses are encouraged since they help a human see the youkai easier.

3. A human can get hold of a youkai's name or make them their Shiki if they either win their trust and devotion by doing something notable, or beating them in a fight, something quite difficult.

4. For a human to become an exorcist, they must either come from a family of exorcists, or receive training from one.

5. Charms, Spells and Seals are only to be used by exorcists.

6. Hair and Eye colors must be natural. Hair dyes and eye lenses are allowed.

7. Take in mind that humans are humans. You can't go killing other humans for fun. You'll get arrested and put in jail. Also, school is there for a reason. Except for certain situations, students must attend their classes normally and will only have time to wander around after school, or if they skip class, or when on holidays, etc. Also, humans need money to pass by, so work is essential, except for certain situations again.
